Sussex Business Times covered the upcoming National Business Awards’ judges and finalists in our October issue, but in more recent news, Samsung has been named as the sponsor of the Innovation Award
The Lloyds Bank National Business Awards 2016 announced that Samsung is sponsoring this year’s Innovation Award. Described as “the Oscars of great British business” by former Prime Minister, David Cameron, this year’s awards will celebrate the Best of British Ambition.
As the name suggests, the Innovation Award will be presented to the business who best demonstrates an innovative flare, implemented through a new product, service or idea that has had the greatest impact on an organisation or industry.
The winner of this award will be announced at the award ceremony on 15th November at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, London and the finalists for the Innovation Award are:
- Day Webster
- M Squared
- PJM Group
- Spark Energy
IM Enterprise Marketing Director at Samsung, Sally Wright said: “We’re proud to be sponsoring the Innovation category at the National Business Awards, because innovation has always been at the very heart of everything Samsung does. We’re passionate about developing new products that enhance people’s lives, so we want to champion the finalists who are doing the same and making a real impact with new and unique products, features and services.”
Group Brand Director of the National Business Awards, Tom Broughton also commented: “The ability to innovate is key for any successful business. The finalists for this category have clearly demonstrated the ability to innovate, and as a result have demonstrated a successful commercial performance, throughout the last year.”
