After a successful 2016 launch in Brighton, SBT announces partnership with key Sussex Business Expos as organisers also announce Fontwell event

brighton-expo-main-event-20oct2016-82Regular readers of SBT will have been aware of the Brighton Business Expo event that took place at Brighton Racecourse for the very first time this October 20th.

For those who didn’t make it along, SBT are pleased to report that the launch event enjoyed a healthy attendance with the 72-strong exhibitor list greeting many of the hundreds that pre-registered for the day.

Sponsors for the inaugural Brighton Expo were Porsche Mid Sussex, who sponsored the Café Area; European Office Products PLC who were present in the Reception Area and Silver Lining Convergence, who were general sponsors of the event.

Speaking with event organiser, Mike Monk, he described the event as being ‘organised to help businesses to find new suppliers and to forge fruitful partnerships’. Another of the expo’s main aims was to inspire companies to come up with and implement fresh ideas to their businesses. This w
as expertly delivered by a programme of seminars featuring specialists from across various sectors, including Natalie Montagnani’s seminar on ‘Removing the Barriers to Successful Marketing’, which gave an engaging and motivational insight into what marketing can do for all different business sectors.

“The 2017 event will return to Brighton’s Racecourse on the 5th of October, where you can expect to see an even greater number of exhibitors and a fresh line up of not-to-miss presentations”

Mike told Sussex Business Times: “Unlike many exhibitions at which you’ll find most conversations being had between the various exhibitors, the Brighton Business Expo saw such great numbers throughout the day, the exhibitors had plenty of opportunity to meet new people and to offer solutions and services to potential clients. We kicked off the day with a breakfast briefing and alongside the keynote presentations, we also hosted a business speed-networking event that went down really well and was well attended”.

2016 exhibitors included Sussex-based Cavendish Communications, who stated: “This exhibition was an excellent opportunity for businesses in their early stages or looking to grow, as well as those who wanted to explore the possibilities of starting their own business”.

The 2017 event will return to Brighton’s Racecourse on the 5th of October, where you can expect to see an even greater number of exhibitors and a fresh line up of not-to-miss presentations.

“The organisers have also announced a second event, which will be held at Fontwell Racecourse in Arundel, West Sussex on the 25th of May 2017″
